Description: Come enjoy the outdoors along Yreka Creek and learn how to become a Citizen Water Quality Volunteer. Klamath Riverkeeper is kicking off its Yreka Creek Citizen Water Quality Monitoring Project and invites volunteers of all ages to get involved in understanding water quality in our streams and rivers.
The Volunteer Training and Sign-up Day will give prospective volunteers a chance to learn how to operate water quality measuring equipment, take water samples, and record data and information. It’s also a great way to get out and enjoy the beautiful place we live in and get involved in the community. The training session will be followed by a lunch BBQ.
